This is the traditional picture upon entering the park. Dave had to work so he was unable to come the first day and we missed him. I was sad that Dave didn't get to see all of Ryker's reactions to things but it was still so much fun.
My sister Lezette's family
My Sister Tiffany's family. Her husband Tim had knee surgery and was unable to make the trip with us. We missed having him there but were glad that Tiffany decided to bring her girls on our family vacation. It would not have been the same without them.
Ryker was very overwhelmed the whole day. This is one of his first reactions to the park.
See this face. This is the face he had ALL day. This is his reaction to seeing Mickey Mouse at a distance. He had the same reaction every time he saw a character or went on a ride. It wasn't until after we left the characters or the ride that he would smile and laugh. It was hard to know if he was enjoying himself but then when he would smile you knew he was just soaking it all in. I LOVE this face even just seeing it makes me laugh.
Here is Goofy from a distance. The first day was crowded with people and the lines to take pictures with the characters were SO long that we didn't stop and wait. (sorry about the blur. It took a couple pictures before I noticed there was something on the lense)
We thought this line was for a ride but we waited for 30 minutes to see Tinkerbell & the boy fairy (?).
Here we all are waiting in line. I am not sure why I didn't get one with the tinker fairies. CRAZY to wait all that time and not even have a picture with them on my camera.
I was worried that Ryker wouldn't take a nap while we were at Disneyland. He was up REALLY early every morning and was tired enough that he just crashed in the stroller every day. For all those who think about going to Disneyland without a stroller like me, think twice. I thought the stroller rental would be under $5 a day but it was $15 per day. ARE YOU KIDDING?! This stroller was from Disneyland (they don't have double strollers) and although it was nice I didn't want to spend $45 over the course of 3 days. I didn't take a stroller because we were concerned about space in the cars while traveling. I ended up going to Walmart that night and purchased a $15 umbrella stroller to save myself $15.
While Ryker was sleeping I was able to go on some fun rides like the Matterhorn & Splash Mountain.
After Ryker woke up from his nap we went on Winnie the Pooh 3 times while waiting for the older kids on Splash Mountain. Ryker LOVED this ride. Some of his favorite rides of the day were Buzz Lightyear, Winnie the Pooh, Finding Nemo, & the carousel.
At the end of the night after Mr. Toad's wild road.
Ryker LOVED the carousel ride. See that smile!
Tarzan tree was SO fun for Ryker who would not look at the camera or even hold still long enough to get more pictures.
Ryker LOVED his Mickey ears. He would not take them off. He cried every night before bed when I took them off. He looked so cute in his ears.
