R is for Ryker

Ryker was a little afraid of Mater & Mcqueen. They didn't talk but their eyes moved. They were really cool looking but Ryker was not so sure about them, although he knew who they were and was excited from a distance.

Ryker didn't want to give Goofy a hug. My nieces all seemed to love him.

After the ride. See how wet we all were. My sister Tiffany chickened out, she didn't want to get wet. Lucky for us, she was able to stay with Ryker since he was too little for the ride.

Bugs Life was the cutest part of California adventure land.You walk in and everything is huge (to make you feel like the bug), it was very well done.  Ryker loved all the rides although he was too little for the bumper cars.  This picture is classic "here is a smile but I am too busy to actually look at you face".

On this ride you are a caterpiller and everything is REALLY big. You get to eat your way through different foods with Heimlich. Ryker was pointing out something for us to look at. He LOVED this ride. It was his favorite of the day.

Dave was a trooper and went on this ride with the kids. The rest of us didn't want to be spun around. This ride reminds me of the scrambler at Lagoon. I am not a fan of rides that spin around and around.

Here is a not so great picture of Dave and Ryker just walking around. Grandma was nice enough to buy Ryker this Lightening McQueen car that he just had to have. He LOVED it!

Lack of sleep caught up with me this day and I had a major Migraine so I stopped to relax on a bench while Dave and Ryker went and explored this little boat. Ryker loved climbing and playing with all the bells & whistles.

I wished I had gotten some pictures of Ryker & Dave going on Toy Story. This was my favorite ride of the day. It was 3D and the glasses were too big for Ryker but he still enjoyed it. We also enjoyed Monsters Inc.

California adventure is geared more toward older kids/teens. Dave was able to go on the roller coasters "Screamin" & Tower of Terror (like I said the migraine was not fun this day). Over all it was a great day!
