The Big Day!

I know that many of you have been checking my blog daily to see if we have posted pictures of the baby or given any more updates. You will have to wait at least one more day. I went to the Dr today and to my surprise I have not progressed any more than last week. All the walking and contractions over the past week have done nothing for me. This was very frustrating for me to hear. The Dr said that our son is doing well but that he is getting big and she is worried that if I continue with the pregnancy until I go on my own that I will have to have a C-section or the baby may have complications from going over my due date. Since I have not progressed any more in the past 3 weeks, we opted for being induced tomorrow. The Dr feels this is the best option for our situation. We actually are going to the hospital tonight to have some medicine that will completely eface my cervix and then I will start on the pitocin in the morning. I am nervous and excited at the same time. Hopefully the labor will not be extremely long and that we will be holding our baby boy by this time tomorrow. I will post pictures as soon as possible for all to see, although it may be a couple of days before this happens (I will see if I can get Dave to post some before I leave the hospital). Wish us Luck and keep us in your prayers.

How exciting! I hope by now you're holding your little one in your arms wondering just how life existed before he was here. I can't wait to see pictures.
