We had a busy week. Dave was working the swing shift last week so we thought that we would be able to get everything done during the day. We did get most of the furniture in the nursery but nothing on the walls. I was able to complete the major shopping for our son and get his laundry washed and in the right place. Dave had a stressful work week and was worn out by Friday. Dave's parents, Rick & Debbie came up on Friday afternoon to help Dave work on the office downstairs. Debbie & I enjoyed some shopping and then we picked up some Olive Garden for dinner, yummy. We woke up Saturday morning and went to the IF temple for a great session. Rick & Debbie had never been to our temple and they were really impressed. I thought I might have to go to the bathroom the entire time but I did really good. It was nice being in such a special place and our son was enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Rick was able to help Dave get a lot accomplished in the office and Debbie helped me get the bedding in the crib before they left Saturday evening. Dave and I were able to enjoy the rest of the evening together.
I have gotten to that tired stage where I don't feel I can get much done without having to stop and rest; this is very frustrating for me. It is a good thing that we have the nursery all ready. We finally got most of the decorations on the walls in the nursery. I have my hospital bags packed and ready to go. Now we are playing the waiting game with our son. At my Dr. appt. this week they said that I am moving further along but still I am not dilated. Our son's heartbeat is steady and sounds great. I didn't gain any weight this week, yeah! Although last week I gained more than I wanted to so I guess it evens out. Does anyone have any suggestions for my constant itching? My Dr. said Benadryl cream but it doesn't seem to really help very much. I am having a hard time sleeping at night because I am so itchy everywhere.
We hope that everyone has a great week!

I'm a big fan of Curel lotions or Eucerin or Aquaphor. I think Curel just came out with a lotion especially for pregnant ladies such as yourself. How thoughtful of them! Maybe one of those will work for you...it's worth a try anyway.
My friend was itchy a lot during her pregnancy. She used virgin coconut oil all over her body. Try "Tropical Traditions." You can order it online. She said it helped. Good luck!
