Christmas 2009
After last year I was not sure how Ryker would react to Santa. He didn't want anything to do with him. The picture of him and Santa at Dave's work party was the best, but I couldn't find it. He was terrified last year.
I guess this year was different.
Ryker was patiently awaiting his turn with a smile on his face.
This picture is blurry but that is because he is now jumping up and down saying "Pick Me". He couldn't wait to get up there on Santa's lap to get his gift.
Here Ryker is trying to talk to Santa, he was a little shy when it came down to it.
He was much happier this year with Santa.

Just figuring out what it is. He loved it, and still does. Way to go Santa, you hit it on the nose.
My Mom's extended family has gotten together for a HUGE Christmas party for as long as I can remember. I used to be the one sitting up on Santa's lap telling him what I would like for Christmas. Besides having a yummy meal, and Santa, there is also pinatas (but I didn't get a picture of Ryker's turn) I love seeing all my cousins and their families. It has been a couple years since Dave and I have attended one of these parties (before Ryker was born) and it was wonderful to see how much the families have grown. I grew up just as close to my 1st cousins as some of my 2nd cousins so getting together every year makes the holiday season bright. I am so glad we live in Utah and are able to attend Christmas Parties that have always been such a big part of my life. Here is to carrying on traditions that have been going on since before I was born.
