Lights at Temple Square ~ December 2, 2010

Ryker is now 2 1/2 and this was his first trip to Temple Square. Dave and I were married here almost 9 years ago. I have loved this temple for as long as I can remember. I just think that craftmanship is amazing. It was a wonderful Christmas night with snow flakes falling lightly but it was still somewhat warm.

The sister missionaries took our picture. A little far away, but that is OK.

Can you tell he is my 1st child. He is wearing a long sleeve white shirt, a green hoodie, his coat & liner. He loves his "snowing hat" and gloves. He also has this warm quilt, he was nice and warm.

Waiting for daddy, I took this picture myself. I just love my little man's smile. He loved all the lights.

a little blurry but still cute

I love all the tin lanterns that lined the walkway. Ryker loved all the little nativities.

You will have to live with my crooked picture.
We enjoyed going to see the Christus Statue or "Giant Jesus" as Ryker called it. We didn't get any pictures because there were SO many people there. We also sat and watched the nativity story. We all had a wonderful night on the Temple grounds. It was a great way to start out the holiday season.

The Lights are always so pretty! You were smart to go early in December... so you don't have to fight with the crowds. Ryker looks adorable all bundled up! Looks like a great time!

Those pictures are amazing. They sure make me miss Utah at Christmas time. I love the one of you and Ryker with the temple in the distance!

What a fun trip. We didn't make it this year so I am glad I could live vicariously through your pictures!
