Some Facts about Ryker at age 3

Favorite color: Blue - He always picks blue when given a choice.

Favorite food: Pizza, he would eat it everyday if I let him

Favorite treat: Fruit snacks, grapes, and strawberries

Favorite drink: Lemonade, just plain lemonade

Favorite toys: Buzz Lightyear and Lightening McQueen

Favorite place: The Dinosaur Park or any place with dinosaurs 

Happiest time of day: Morning, definately a morning person

Favorite part of bedtime routine: Brushing your teeth

Favorite song: Jingle bells (yes it is July and we can't get him to STOP singing it)

Ryker, you are such a great little boy. I LOVE that you are 3! You are more independent with each day, which I like most of the time but it means that you are growing up so quickly. I love that you have such a big heart and always want to be around others. I love that you are potty trained and have been since March. I love that you are SO into learning new things and curious about life. You are a smart boy and have SO much energy. I love the random things that you say, you make me laugh. You make everyone around you laugh! I love that you are learning to use your manners by saying "Please and Thank you" every time. I love that when you get your mind set on something you don't waiver.  I love that you are good at cleaning up your toys after you are done. I am sad that you think that you don't need mom's kisses anymore to heal your wounds or make you feel better. I love your kisses even though they are less frequent than they used to be. I love that you randomly ask to go to a friends home that lives in Idaho or that you still ask to go back to Idaho (he actually thinks our house is called Idaho). I love that you can still remember the friendships that you made in Idaho (impressive that we moved 9 months ago and he still talks about his friends there). You have a great memory and can recall the events of each day. I love that if I say "Yes we can go to the dinosaur park tomorrow" that you follow up with me the next day and remind me that we are going to the dinosaur park.

I fell in love with you the moment that I knew I was pregnant and that love has continued to grow with each passing day. Ryker, you challenge me in so many ways, but the reward of watching you grow and learn has been worth every minute. I am SO lucky to be your mom and have the chance to raise you in this life. You have made my life feel complete and meaningful. I only hope that you forget all the bad stuff and remember only the good that comes with being 3, because I am not a perfect mom. My love for you never waivers and I hope that you will always need your mom in your life, even though right now you prefer your dad. You and your dad share such a special bond, I love watching the 2 of you together. Thank you for being so fun loving to everyone around you!
