The Big 30!!

I was spoiled for my Birthday back in January. You only turn 30 once! I got a camera from Dave & Ryker. My parents took me out to dinner and shopping. My in-laws gave me a gift card to Maurices (one of my favorite stores). My sister-in-law gave me some Scentsy (another favorite of mine). My bro-in-law and new sis-in-law gave me my favorite candy bar and some lotion. My sister Lezette treated me to lunch at one of my favorite places Chic-Fil-A. My sister Tiff took me to eat at Red Robin. You see the trend here right... spoiled. Oh and Dave's aunt Jodie treated me to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory... yum!

Yes, this was a BIG birthday! I had a lot of mixed emotions, not as much about getting older for myself but for Ryker and future kids, or my lack of success with having more children. My body is getting older, and that makes it sad for me to think about having more children and how old I will be when they are 20. 

 I have loved my life up until now and I will continue to enjoy the remainder of my life. I have an amazing husband who is my eternal companion in this life and if I am lucky, the next. I have 2 children waiting for me on the other side of the veil (Although the pregnancy  miscarried early I still believe they will be mine to raise in the next life). I have an amazing little boy named Ryker who keeps me young (although most days I can't keep up with his energy). I am SO blessed in my life. Around my birthday I do more reflecting on my life and more often than not I notice how blessed that I am. I am so lucky to be a stay at home mom, not always easy, but I love it. I love the stage that Ryker is in, he is so fun, and creative.  

Thanks to everyone for making my 30th birthday memorable!! I am blessed to have such wonderful family and friends!
