Ummmm.... another road yet untraveled

So here we are on the right road headed toward Camp Loll. Funny thing is these roads are parallel of each other but about a mile apart. Once we found a ranger station and spoke with the ranger we got a map and go to the right road. The ranger warned us that the road might be closed due to snow. We were not expecting THIS much snow in June.

Those are our tire tracks

Here we are near the top. Dave hiked up further (the picture at the top) and all he could see was snow. We decided to turn around and head back.

This road was really wet but we had a great time. Ryker LOVED when Dave drove fast through the puddles and the water splashed up onto the windows. Our car was dirty top to bottom, but we had a great time.

On the way up I caught a glance of this little run off. On the way back I made Dave stop to get a closer look. We hiked up a little further and this is what we saw.

Dave felt this sign was appropriate after all getting lost and not doing a lot of research of the road that we wanted to be on. I just laughed and took the picture. At least my honey has a sense of humor. I thought overall we had a wonderful day. Sometimes the road less travels is the most wonderful of All

After spending so much time in nature, it is hard to imagine that people don't believe in God. All these beautiful wonderful sights for us to see, only God could create such beauty.

Our goal is to get to Union Falls which is a hike just off this road. By the end of July or 1st part of August the road should be clear of snow. We sure hope so, we are looking forward to the hike.

I want that run-off in my backyard! So pretty. I guess we'll have to move out to the country to have room for something like that though.
