Memorial Weekend... started with a funeral

We were planning on staying home for Memorial weekend. We have been gone a lot on Sundays and I was in charge of teaching the Sunbeams that Sunday. We received some bad news the week before Memorial Day. Dave's uncle Matt died early that Sunday morning. Matt was like Dave's older brother. Matt was only 8 years older than Dave and so they were close. Dave looked up to and had so much respect for his uncle. This was a great loss to the Haycock family. We were not going to miss the funeral so we made arrangements to be in Utah for the funeral. The funeral was on a Friday and everything went as well as to be expected. We are still missing our fun uncle Matt.
Grandma Debbie had a rough week with her mom in the hospital, her brother passing away, and helping make funeral arrangements. She wanted to do something fun on Saturday. Jami and her kids were in town so she treated everyone to some afternoon fun at Chuck E Cheese. I have not been to a Chuck E Cheese since I was really young. Ryker had a blast! We had fun with all of Dave's family.

Ryker loving this ride with the puppy in the front seat.

Here are Brigham, Nolan, and Isabelle

Ryker trying out this ride (he was too small to pedal)

Ryker had to try out everything, he loved this jeep and didn't want to get out.

My BOYS!

Erin came with her 2 boys Hunter and Parker and left the girls with their dad.

Dave loves basketball games and Ryker had fun just throwing the ball toward the basket.

Nolan (danger) on the horse Ryker and Nolan could be brothers, they look alike.

Isabelle the oldest grandchild, having fun in the race car.

Dave and Ryker trying out the race car game. I think they ended up playing 2 or 3 times.

Erin and her boys, what good kids. How good does she look after having TWINS? Not fair I know.

This is a picture of my boys mowing the Carlisle's lawn. Ryker enjoyed riding with Dave. I love that Dave is such a BIG kid sometimes and enjoyes doing things like playing at Chuck E Cheese and riding with Ryker on the lawn mower. Dave is such an amazing dad!
We were able to have a nice BBQ with the all of Dave's family (minus Curt who is on a mission). We love it when we can all get together and enjoy good food.
