Here is an update on Ryker - He turned 14 months on June 22 and will be 15 months on July 22nd. He is just as busy and fun as ever. He says new words everyday and also surprises me with things that he learns to do. For instance last week he decided to climb onto the couch and then the arm of the couch then on to the end table. I caught him doing this several time and each time getting down and telling him no (I did have to take some pictures). The next task he decided to attempt was climbing up the back of the couch. I have no idea when or where he learned this little stunt but he is becoming quiet the little daredevil. We went with our ward to a splash park that is 20 min from our house and he didn't like it at all at first but by the end he was finally putting his hands in. He did enjoy watching the other kids playing around. His favorite word and toy is Ball. He spots anything round and he automatically says "Ball". He continues to enjoy the outdoors and exploring everything around him. He loves playing in the sand or dirt, grass, and at the park. Ryker also enjoys our daily walks with our friends. I love that he is becoming more independent in playing by himself and keeping himself entertained. He has only been wanting to feed himself with a spoon or fork, which in some ways is nice but it frustrates me when we are in a hurry. Ryker does surprisingly well with the utensils and seems to be proud of himself after each meal. Just seeing the pride beaming in his face makes cleaning up the mess worthwhile. Time has been passing so fast, I am looking forward to the day when Ryker gets to go to the nursery. I am sad that I feel as if I am not enjoying this stage (the independence stage) as much as I should be. I do try to stop cleaning and spend quality time with my son.
We are so blessed to have Ryker as a part of our family. He continues to bring laughter and joy into our home.

We love our daily walks with you guys. With the way Sadie stares at Ryker I think she may have a little crush!
What a cute little man! Cute blog too. I'm so glad I found it! How did you make your cute photo collages? They are really cute! Anyway, it will be fun to keep in touch with you through the blogs.
