Happy Anniversary Sweetie!

Dave & I have been married for 7 years today! It is crazy to think that so much time has passed by and yet I feel so comfortable in my life that I have a hard time remembering how life was before marriage. In April we will have know each other for 12 years. Dave has been a part of my life for so long that I can't imagine my life without Dave in it. Dave has been my rock through some really hard times. I thought that I would put a little insert from the letter that Dave wrote to me.

"It’s hard to believe that we’ve been married for seven years. It seems like just yesterday that we were driving to your parents’ house from Salt Lake City without a window. It seems like just yesterday that we fixed up my grandparents house with all the Boxelder bugs. It seems like just yesterday that we got shaved ice and walked around campus. It seems like just yesterday that we painted our first purple wall. It seems like just yesterday that we drove to the beach with the windows down. It seems like just yesterday that we weathered our second storm across the Idaho border. It seems like just yesterday you squeezed my hand in pain. It seems like just yesterday we bribed Ryker with a bright phone.

I can’t believe how fast it goes, and I wouldn’t trade any of it for anything. Even the hard times I look back on with gratitude. Our memories are dear to me."

The letter he wrote to me is so near and dear to my heart. I appreciate all the hard work that Dave does for our family. I love this man so deeply that it is hard to express my feelings in words.

Dave, thanks for the wonderful meal that we shared yesterday and for being so thoughtful in taking care of Ryker. You are an amazing husband and father; there is no one that I want to continue on this journey with than you. You are my everything! Happy Anniversary!
