Day 1 of St. George ~ June 2011

I have been so busy and have gotten so far behind but I am determined to print out another book of my blog for the year 2011 so here I am playing catch up. I figure if I try to post at least one or twice a week I will be done by January.

After Brian's wedding luncheon we headed down to St. George with my parents for a long weekend. Dave and I went golfing the next morning, bright and early. If you ever start to feel disconnected from your spouse go and do something that they are passionate about. Seeing how much Dave loves golf was so refreshing. I know that we have been caught up in our lives that sometimes we forget to spend time with just the 2 of us. We have been much better about date nights since this trip, but this was a special experience for me.

I took the picture at just the right time, I caught a part of the ball sailing in the air.

Beautiful golf course
cleaning off his shoes after hitting his ball in the sand.
The scenery was so breath taking.
There were so many cute little bunnies hopping all over the course.
Did I mention break taking views?
I am NOT good at golf but I sure had fun getting advise from my pro (Dave). This was only like the 3rd time I have gone which is crazy because I have my own set of clubs.
No one around but us so Dave held up my heavy camera and took a shot.
I love this man! He is just amazing!
Riding in the cart. We had to rent clubs because we didn't have room for them in the car.
At some point I stopped playing and just enjoyed watching Dave. I Love that we got to spend time doing something he loves.

Tuacahn ~ The Little Mermaid
 SO MUCH FUN!!
My parents who were kind enough to watch Ryker for us while we went golfing.
Ryker wanted this glow in the dark trident. He loved the play and still talks about it.
Crazy!!
They flood the stage, it was awesome!
This was his face almost the whole time, it would make me laugh. At intermission we changed him into his pajamas. He tried so hard to stay awake, he put forth a great effort but finally slept through the last 15 minutes of the show. We have been to several plays at Tuacahn but this was one of my favorites.

I heard Little Mermaid was playing at the Tuachan and I wished we could have gone. I love the pic with Ryker as prince Erica and Dave as Sebastian! So funny!
