My New Camera

So for Christmas, my Anniversary (Jan 18th), and Birthday (Jan 21st) Dave bought me a camera. I have been wanting a nicer camera but he went above and beyond what I was expecting. He said that "You only turn 30 once" ~ True.

One of my friends was upgrading her camera and offered me hers for a great price so we purchased this camera used but in excellent condition. I still have SO much to learn but I am LOVING the results of this camera. Even on those days when I am not feeling confident in my abilities the AUTO function works amazing. This camera is a Cannon 40D SLR. I LOVE IT!!

Like I said I have A LOT to learn still about photography and taking pictures. It would help if my husband would stop messing around with the settings and NOT putting them back. I don't have the best eye sight so it takes me a few pictures to notice that the settings are off. I don't blame him for having camera envy, it is really fun to try out all the settings and such. Dave and I are going to attempt a trip to Europe next year and I wanted to get a camera before then so that I could become a better photographer for that trip.
