My 2 1/2 year old

So I never got Ryker's pictures taken around his 2nd birthday. I have no excuse, life is just busy. Ryker and I went for a Sunday drive because I wanted to get a picture of an old truck to put up in his room. I had to stop at the Rust color wall to get some pictures. I wanted some Idaho Falls locations so I could remember loving it there. Like most 2 1/2 year olds, he was tired and didn't want to have his picture taken. I actually think that even tho he is not smiling, he still looks adorable and you get more of a realistic idea of his personality.

Ryker is such a fun loving little boy. He is ALL BOY, he loves cars, planes, action heroes, running, jumping, getting dirty (minus his hands, he is a little OCD there), being outside, playing with friends, watching sports with dad, camping and riding 4-wheelers. He is so smart and learns new words and songs each day. I love his new phases of "How about" or "What about" he wants to include everyone when we sing a song like "Happy Family" we have to go through grandma, grandpa, and all his cousins so he will say "how about grandpa" when we finish singing about grandma. Although it can get a little annoying to sing "Happy Family" 50 times, at least he knows who is a part of his family. He LOVES to sing, we have been singing A LOT in the car. He can sing the ABC song up to H by himself and with help can sing the whole song. He can count to 20 by himself, and he can actually count not just say the numbers. I love to hear him counting all of his cars when they are all lined up. He has been playing really well independently (I guess he has had to with all the moving we have been doing). He is really into Disneys "Cars" right now. I guess I kind of feed into the obsession. I buy them and we talk about them and I let him watch the movie everyday. His room is decorated in vintage Cars, planes, trains, and anything that moves so he is just following with what I like for him.
LOOK AT THOSE EYES!

I am still learning my Photoshop Elements. I wish that I had more time to really learn how to make the pictures look the way I want and do some digital scrapbooking.

WE LOVE YOU RYKER and are so glad you are a part of our family!
