My Wonderful Loving Husband

This blog is mainly for our families & friends to keep in touch with what it going on in our lives. For the most part the blog is about Ryker because he is such a HUGE part of our lives. He also brings us so much joy and we waited a long time for him. I want to tribute a post to my loving husband Dave.
For those of you who don't know, Dave has been training for a new position at his work for the last 9 months. All of his hard work is about to pay off... he will be finishing his training on Friday with a BIG oral presentation. I will spare you all the details but for those of you who have been in school it is the equivalent of taking a MAJOR test that will let you graduate. Dave is such a wonderful husband who is always trying to better our lives. Dave has so much determination to continue learning and striving to accomplish things that he sets his mind to. Quitting is NOT in Dave's vocabulary. Dave always amazes me with the things that he accomplishes and how smart he is. I know that he will do great and pass his oral presentation.
I am the luckiest girl to have a husband like Dave. Not only is Dave a hard worker at his job; he is a hard worker at home as well. He is always pitching in with the housework. Just last night he washed all the dishes while I did the laundry. On Saturday he cleaned the kitchen and mopped the floor. He also straightened the living room. He set up a play area downstairs for Ryker (for those days I am down in the office doing Pampered Chef or crafts) all while I was at my Super Saturday.
Dave has to put up with a lot with me as his wife. I am high maintenance all around... but mostly emotionally. Over the past 5 months I have been taking fertility drugs off and on (I can only handle so much emotionally) and these drugs make me feel CRAZY. Dave comes home from work and I am usually at my wits end with Ryker and that leaves NO patience for Dave. I snap when he asks me what is for dinner, which is a valid question. Most of the time he ends up watching Ryker and helping with dinner. I love being his wife because I know that no matter how CRAZY my moods or emotions get he is there for the long haul. I feel so blessed to have him as my companion forever.
Dave is such an amazing Dad! I love watching him interact with Ryker. He is always teaching him new things and helping Ryker learn new words and songs. I love our moments in the car because there is usually singing, laughter, and nice conversations with lots of teaching moments. Dave loves to read every night to Ryker before he goes to bed. Ryker loves his Dad. Ryker enjoys talking with his Dad on the phone and runs to him when he gets home from work.
Posted by Picasa Dave, I have confidence that you will pass your training with flying colors. I love you so much and appreciate all that you do for our family. You are the greatest!

What a nice post about your husband. I don't know him very well, but he has always seemed like a very nice guy. Sorry those pills make you crazy. That is such a bummer. I had an iud for a couple months this summer and it made me CRAZY! I had it taken out and instantly was fine again. Yeah. Good luck with getting pregnant.
