11 Months, are you kidding!

Has 11 months already past since I had my beautiful baby boy? How can this be? Where has the time gone. Sadly his scrapbook is already SO far behind. I need to get working on that. I have a few things that I want to accomplish before his birthday. I want to put together a hard bound book of his first year, if you have any suggestions, let me know.

Ryker turned 11 months on Sunday. It seems like so many things have changed over the last month that I haven't done very well at keeping track of them. Ryker's top right tooth finally came in. He has been so interactive with Dave and I. On Saturday or Sunday mornings Dave will bring Ryker to come play in our bed. Ryker likes to be right in between us, it is funny when we try to hug Ryker comes right over and nestles his head right between ours. He is enjoying wrestling and trying to play steamroller. When we have been down in Utah this month, the weather has been nice enough to be outside. Ryker loved the sand but not the grass. He freaked out when he fell face first on the grass. Last Wednesday he took 3 steps without holding onto anything. He has taken a few more here and there but still doesn't seem that interested in walking everywhere. I know that he is capable, he is just content to crawl.

Ryker is my little shadow, he follows me everywhere and wants me to carry him around. I have a hard time saying NO to that cute little face. When I do say NO he laughs and thinks that it is a game. This is frustrating at times, I don't want him touching certain things and when he laughs or crawls right back to that item I am not sure what to do. He is very determined when he sets his mind to something.

We love our little guy! I look forward to celebrating his first birthday next month on the 22nd. I just need to get some things accomplished before that day comes.
