A Moment to Myself

What a crazy week! I found out last Friday that things with my dad were a lot worse than everyone let me believe. As soon as I found out what was really going on I packed up and came to Utah to help. This week we basically rearranged my parents home to have everything my dad needs on the main floor. We also painted 2 rooms in the process (this was the best part). My oldest sister Lezette is so amazing. She is someone that I look up to. She was the leader in organizing my parents home. Now that all is said and done, the house looks great. My dad is doing better. He past out last Sunday and they thought he might be a goner but he pulled through like the fighter he is. He was actually able to come home over night for what the hospital called a trial run to see what we need to improve on for him to come home full time. We are confident that he will be home this coming week. Ryker has been adjusting fairly well. He doesn't have his own room and is realizing how tired mommy is and that instead of spending effort and energy into rocking him back to sleep that I will just put in the bed with me. What a bad habit that I have started, it will probably take me all of this week to fix that issue. He loves being around so many family members who pay so much attention to him. We did miss Dave all week but were so excited to see him over the weekend. Dave has been so supportive of the situation. I am so glad that I am able to be here for my family. I am not sure how long I will be here, as long as I am needed. Right now is the first moment that I have had to myself all week so I thought that I would give everyone a quick update on how things are going. Thanks again for every ones thoughts and prayers. I have the best family and friends that anyone could ask for.
