Ryker's school had Santa come and give out gifts. They also did a cookie exchange, Ryker does not do well eating lots of treats. He threw up later that night. This was a really good Santa and the class had fun singing songs and dancing. Their last day before winter break was December 15th.
I am still adjusting to my camera and didn't get the shutter speed right for a lot of the action shots.
Christmas fell on a Sunday this year and we have 9am church so I made the decision to open gifts from each other, mom & dad, and Grandma & Grandpa on Saturday morning instead. What a great idea! Ryker had SO much fun opening all his gifts and getting to spend the whole day with the new Wii (family gift), his race tracks, among other things. I was much more relaxed because it was not such a rush to open and get ready for church right away. Ryker is LOVING Cars 2 and most of his gifts were centered around those things.I think his favorite next to the Wii is the Lightning McQueen pillow pet.
Had to take a picture of my mom making Christmas candy. It is a tradition at my house. My mom is amazing and makes the best candy around, hands down.
My Nephew Bryson's last Christmas with us before going on a mission.
My family does a NICE Christmas eve dinner with China and prime rib. This is a tradition that I love doing with my sisters and their families. We then exchange gifts. I had my sister Lezette's family. My mom also is amazing and makes all of the grandkids pajama bottoms. The kids love to change into their new pajamas before heading home. We have to get a picture of them every year in from of the tree. I LOVE that Christmas time is full of Family events
Christmas Morning

Santa came and brought our good little boy some presents. Santa sure knows how to listen when this little boy asked for Cars and Cars legos. He also got some movies, pajamas, underwear, socks, books, and a few things of candy in his stocking. It was nice to have gotten all the bigger gifts opened the day before and after a quick breakfast we all rushed off to church. It was a great Christmas. Dave and I both got some necessities for Christmas but tried to have a very modest Christmas. Christmas time makes me realize how blessed we are to live in these current times. We are blessed with wonderful families. My parents are kind enough to continue letting us live here for minimal cost while still paying off the debt accrued from the sale of our house. We are also bless with the knowledge about a Savior who was born in a stable long ago. We are blessed with all that we have. I love my 2 handsome boys more than anyone could ever know, now what better gift could I ask for during Christmas? Absolutely nothing. May you all be blessed through the coming year.
